That's Clever!
More from the showMaterials and Tools:
green and various colors of polymer clay
silver leaf
tissue blade
pasta machine
20-gauge wire
purchased earring wires
wire cutters
round nose pliers
convection toaster oven
metallic powders - optional
Steps:
1. Condition green clay by rolling it through a pasta machine several times.
2. Place a sheet of silver leaf on top of the conditioned green clay.
4. Mix small amounts of selected colors of polymer clay to produce a marble sheet. Run the clay through the pasta machine.
6. Cut five 1/4 inch wide slices from the marbled sheet. Press the marbled pieces crosswise on top of the silver-leafed rectangle.
8. Bend 20-gauge wire into a U-shape to form a metal loop on the top of the earrings. Place the loop onto the top of each strip (image). Overlay with more clay to hide the bottom of the wire. Sprinkle on metallic powders as desired.
9. Bake the polymer clay earrings at 275 degrees for 15 minutes.
10. Attach earring wires to the wire loops and enjoy your new dangle earrings!
