Figure A--Shadow boxes not only give you the ability to display photographs, but also to work with dimensional objects. In this shadowbox, a lock of hair, a toy airplane, a clay hand and photographs are all included.

Figure B--This variation on the shadowbox has ribbon that holds letters and photographs tight against the background.

Figure C--Create a shadowbox by first picking up an acrylic box frame at any discount store. Cut away the back and top flap with a craft knife. Choose an appropriate background paper and glue to the inside with a glue stick. Tape the corners of the frame up and the background is complete.

Once you've selected objects and photographs to be featured, cut foam-core board to fit underneath several of the objects that you want to have prominence. Use double-sided tape to attach an object to the foam core board. After placing the objects and securing them to the background, the shadowbox will begin to reveal itself.
