From the shoebox is viewer project comprised of two ideas presented on past shows. Mary McGillen of Magalia, Calif., wrote a note on a beautiful note card that she had made by peeling the top layer of a paper napkin and laminating it to the card by placing a piece of plastic wrap between the two and ironing them together. The paper napkin she had chosen was particularly dramatic and McGillen had further enhanced its appearance by placing a piece of vellum over the card with the words "Thank You" printed on it. McGillen had done this on her printer. For those who do not have a printer it could be stamped with a rubber stamp. The envelope the card was placed in was made from another paper napkin (same pattern) which had been ironed to a piece of freezer wrap. It was a very handsome set.
