For many people, the best part about Thanksgiving is the memories of times spent with family and friends. Photo albums and scrapbooks are a wonderful way to preserve those memories, but unfortunately, once the books are filled, the photos aren't viewed very often anymore. A clever way to keep those memories front and center--in the kitchen, where it all happens, no less--is a new product called the MagneFrame, a multi-space magnetic photo collage frame designed by Amy Lehmann.

Born out of her need to show off more photos of grandchildren than she had space for, the MagneFrame is a neat and versatile way to display photos and tidy-up the fridge as well as take advantage of the space it has traditionally offered for showing off your stuff. They aren't just for the fridge, either. If you think about it, there are several barren metal spaces around just waiting for a MagneFrame full of photos, like a filing cabinet at Mom's office, the side of Dad's big metal tool cart in the garage, your little one's locker at school...in fact, they can be cut to fit any space you have available. And the bonus is, the little frames inside the large frame can be used by themselves in other (smaller) places.

They come in several styles with various numbers of photo openings. They can be painted with just about any kind of paint to match or accentuate virtually every décor, not to mention markers, stickers, etc. Amy decorated the one in these photos using rub-ons and stickers. Create one for grandparents with all of the grandkids' photos inside, or create one for the year and decorate a photo opening to match each month or holiday of the year. When your young one goes off to college, use a MagneFrame to chronicle their school years with a different grade photo in each space. Decorate one to match a vacation, favorite sport or pastime, or just about anything else. The possibilities are endless!
