Project by Michele Gerbrandt.
Materials:
2 copies of the same photo
mini brads
1/16" hole punch
scissors
acid-free adhesive
journaling pen
Steps:
1. Use one photo to cut out the entire body shape of the animal or person you have selected to silhouette (figure A).
2. On the second photo, cut out the head and legs (figures B and C).
3. To reattach the cropped legs and head to the body, hold the limbs in place on top of the body, lining up markings/body patterns to get the limbs into their original position. Punch through both layers at the same time using the hole punch (figure D).
4. Insert a brad through the hole, turn it over, and flatten brad (figure E). Leave a slight amount of space between the photo and the brad head so the limbs can move. Repeat as needed until all limbs are attached (figure F).
5. Adhere body onto page and complete with other photos and journaling.
