Project by Dee Gruenig.

Materials

good-quality shaving cream
shallow tray
spatula or fork
paper towels or butcher paper
Posh Inkabilities Inks
matte coated card stock
colored card stock
opaque sticker paper
Posh Duet rubber stamps
Marvy brush art markers
stamping mat w/back-up paper
cleaning tray & rag
spray bottle of water
scissors
Xyron w/adhesive or other glue

Steps:

1. Shake shaving cream and spray into tray. Spread evenly with spatula (figure A).

2. Drip several drops of various colors of ink randomly over cream. Pull fork through ink to create swirls of color (figure B).

3. Lay card stock onto cream and press to make contact in all areas of paper (figure C).

4. Lift paper and place, cream side up, on butcher paper for 5 to 10 minutes (figure D). Meanwhile press another piece of cardstock into cream. Add more ink or another color and repeat.

5. Blot cream off first page using paper towels. Fold towel and continue blotting until almost all the cream is gone. Wipe away remaining cream with a clean paper towel (figure E).

6. Allow paper to dry thoroughly (figure F).

7. Meanwhile, stamp solid image Duets onto sticker paper using brush art markers. Stamp outlines over stamp images using darker colors (figure G).

8. Cut out stamped images leaving tiny white edges.

9. Fold and trim colored card stock to desired card size.

10. Xyron marbled paper and trim to fit on card. Remove Xyron backing and stick (or glue) into place.

11. Remove sticker paper backing and attach stamped stickers as desired (figure H).
