There were several contributions in the Shoebox today that all came from one viewer...Virginia Reid of Columbia, S.C. Virginia sent in several cards that she made along with a letter stating that she was known as the President of the "Don't Throw Anything Away" club, and the card that she included gave an idea of how she might have obtained that title.

Card #1 featured a mirror as part of the design...the mirror having been the lining in the top of a jar of peanut butter. Her second card had a background of pretty polka dots that almost looked like bubbles floating through the air. How did she make them? By using an old shoe polish dabber. But she didn't use shoe polish for color obviously. It appeared to be either rubber stamp ink or perhaps chalk. At any rate, they were pretty. Her third card featured a couple of rubber stamped images...and the image on the inside liner of the card was stamped on a piece of textured paper that had come from the bib she had worn while at the dentist's office.
