Steps:1. Cut 7" x 9" pressboard plaque and drill two holes for the wires that will hold the vase.
2. Paint the board white and allow to dry.
3. While paint is drying, move on to dust shrink plastic with talcum powder; no sanding necessary.
4. Stamp white shrink plastic using permanent ink. Stamp 1-1/2-inch square tiles (ink direct to plastic) (figure A), a floral sheet (figure B) and the frames (figure C).
5. Write a personal message, names, etc. with a permanent marker, by hand (figure D).
6. Cut out all pieces and place on cardboard for baking (figure E). Bake shrink plastic in toaster oven (in batches) at 325 F degrees for 1 to 3 minutes.
7. Glue "mosaic" pieces to press board plaque, starting with edge tiles and filling in the rest. Add buttons as you go, as desired (figure F).
8. Fill in extra space with white 3-D fabric paint for "grout" and allow to air dry for 24 hours (figure G).
9. Insert wire through the holes drilled in step 1 from back to front and twist with pliers around jelly jar to hold vase (figure H).
10. Add button accent to wire and curl ends. Add flowers (figure I).
Tip: Keep an eye on shrink plastic while cooking. Plastic will curl when shrinking and is ready when it becomes flat again.
