Simple strips of brightly colored cardstock and pewter alphabet letters are all you need to create this exciting memory book cover.
At your teen's next slumber party have each of her friends make a memory book about the fun they had. Guest Julie Larsen reveals a quick and colorful way to preserve every moment.

Materials:

brightly colored cardstock
black card stock
eyelets
fiber
hole punch

  1. Trim seven 6" x 8" strips of black cardstock.

  2. Trim four 5" x 7" strips of colored cardstock. You can mat each strip with a coordinating color for a unique effect.

  3. Adhere each strip horizontally to the page.

  4. Using an eyelet hammer set each alphabet letter (figure A) onto the page to make your title.

  5. Punch three holes down the left side of the page (figure B) using a hole punch, then set three eyelets in each hole.

  6. When the inside pages of your notebook is finished, tie everything together by threading a piece of fiber through each hole (figure C).
