Steps:

1. Turn a red inkpad upside down and rub it over a large piece of card stock to create a red background.

2. Repeat step one using a pink ink pad (figure A).

3. Stamp one of each of the three images on each color of paper, for a total of six stamped images (figure B).

4. Use the circle cutter and cut out six circles for every card you will be making (figure C).

5. Using the process for step one, use an orange ink pad and color the front of your card (figure D).

6. Stamp the big dots in red on the card (figure E).

7. Apply a small piece of the dimensional tape to the back of each circle that you cut out from step 4 and mount each of these within the circles you stamped in step 6 (figure F).

8. To make the inner envelope: Measure the point of the envelope to its sides. Use this measurement and duplicate it onto the typing paper (figure G).

9. Cut out this piece of paper that will become the liner for the envelope. Ink this piece of paper as you did in step 1 above.

10. Stamp with a multitude of cat and dog images in black ink (figure H).

11. Put a piece of double-stick tape along the edge of the envelope liner and slide it into the envelope and secure (figure I).

12. Repeat these steps until you have a set of eight cards.

13. To make the gift packet for the card set: Make a template by measuring the size of your envelopes plus 1/2 inch in the height and the width. Draw these dimensions on one of the manila folders using a pencil. Mark the center point of this rectangle and draw lines out from this as far as you can.

14. From the original rectangle, measure up 1 inch on each side and draw a line that will create the sides of your stationery holder (figure J).

15. From each of these lines, draw horizontal lines up at an angle to create the flaps. To do this, measure in 1/2 inch from each corner; then draw the horizontal lines from the corner to the 1/2-inch mark. Connect these marks. Repeat on all sides.

16. Trace the pattern onto the second manila folder (figure K).

17. Use the circle cutter and cut out two red circles from the scrap.

18. Score all the fold lines with a bone folder (figure L).

19. On the two wider flaps, mark with a pencil where the grommets will go. Attach the circles with the grommets (figure M).

20. Tie a string around one grommet. Insert the cards and loop the string around the grommets to finish your project.
