Steps:Purse
1. Cut table runner in half crosswise.2. If the table runner doesn't have pointed ends, fold the corners of the finished end in toward the center until they meet and form a point. Glue in place with fabric glue (Figure A).
3. Clean finish the raw edge on end where you cut, gluing one length of braid to top and one on bottom of raw edge. Tip - Position braid so it is half over edge (Figure B), therefore gluing the two braids together, sandwiching the edge in between (Figure C).4. With wrong sides together, fold this end up a third of the length plus three inches. This will form the pocket of the purse. 5. Pin in place.
6. Mark at the fold and open up.
8. Glue the cord over the marked line (Figure E). 9. Determine position for appliqués and mark.
10. Following manufacturer's directions, iron the appliqués in place, over the vines.
12. Fold the top, pointed end over pocket and press (Figure G). This becomes the flap to close the purse. Handle
1. Cut 18 pieces of wire measuring six inches long.
3. Weave ribbon through the beaded rings, over and under (Figure I) until you have them all attached together (Figure J).4. Leave several inches of ribbon free at each end; and tie in decorative knot.
