Materials:

slide-lid tea box
acrylic paint
paint brush
colored paper and white paper
dye ink(s)
rubber stamps
Diamond Glaze (or sealer of choice)
paper cutter, square punches or craft knife and ruler
glue
scrap of bar soap or wax candle
beads, dice, sea glass, glass drops, gems, etc.
paper cord

Steps:

1. Paint tea box inside and out with acrylic paint (figure A). Set aside to dry.

2. Using dye-based ink(s), stamp images on white and/or colored paper (figure B).

3. Cut (or punch) the images into squares (figure C).

4. Glue images onto squares of card stock (cut slightly larger) using a glue stick (figure D).

5. Glue squares onto box in a tiled fashion (figure E). Fill in barren spaces with scrap squares.

6. Seal box (one side at a time) with Diamond Glaze, including lid.

7. Attach "feet" (like dice, etc.), beads and embellishments for decorative interest (figures F and G).
