Tonic Studios has introduced some interesting tools starting with several versions of the traditional paper cutter...except theirs are hardly traditional. They hark back to the original guillotine paper cutters as opposed to the more recent rotary cutters, but they have added a flat half-oval-shaped plastic extension next to the cutting area that is a perfect platform for your fingers to rest on. This simple little addition holds the paper firmly in place...even when cutting up to five sheets at a time...it protects your fingers from the cutter and keeps your finger marks off of your photographs. So much for so little. The two cutters shown were in the 8-1/2- and 6-inch sizes. Perfect for cropping photos.
