Bark Heart Ornaments

Cut out various designs to coordinate with your holiday theme.
Designer Nan Sloan shows how to make heart ornaments out of birch bark found in the homeowner's backyard.

Steps:

  1. Use a heart cookie cutter to trace the design on the birch bark. Cut out two hearts.
  2. Whip-stitch the two hearts together using a heavy-duty needle and thread.
