The other two mobiles were made in similar manner with slight differences. The star mobile was also made using cookie cutters in graduated sizes.

The completed stars were all covered with gold or silver or copper leaf. They hung from a 7-inch star cut from foam board and covered with multicolored leaf.

The easiest mobile of all was made with the youngsters in mind. The shapes were circles cut using cookie cutters in graduated sizes. They were painted in primary colors after they dried. The heavy red crochet thread used for hanging them was much easier to work with than the monofilament. The hanger was the red plastic lid from a container of plaster of Paris. It could have been a coffee can lid.
