Bristol glass is an affordable collectible--a small 8-inch vase may go for just $10. Keep your eyes open for the dainty pieces at estate sales and flea markets.
Bristol glass is fast becoming a popular collectible for decorating a country-style home. Made in the late 1800s in Bristol, England, the art nouveau-style pieces are available in a variety of pretty pastels, neutrals and bright colors that fit perfectly with today's country look. Some pieces may be handpainted with gold trim.
