Author and craft instructor Christine Angeli demonstrates an easy technique for learning calligraphy in just five minutes. She uses a box technique, and shows the brush strokes for creating both letters and numbers.

Materials:

paper
chisel-point marker - Marvy #150-S

Steps:
  1. Hold your marker or pen at a 45-degree angle (figure A).

  2. Start by writing the word LOVE (figure B). Remember to always keep the pen or marker at the same angle as the angle in the box. If you can remember that, you can calligraphy anything!
