Scottish Potter

The Carol Duvall Show camera crew visits Julie Brooke. Brooke, trained in Scotland, has been making pottery for 20 years. Pottery affords her the opportunity to be a full-time mother while working on her pieces. Brooke shares her unique glazing and throwing techniques. She uses two different types of glazing, a brush technique and a crystal glaze technique. The crystal glazing creates a finish so unique, it can rarely be duplicated.
