11. Create templates out of tracing paper to transfer the designs onto the plate.
  • Place tracing paper over the design to be painted and trace the image with a fine permanent marking pen.
  • Flip the design over and poke holes very close together along the traced line with a needle tool for the pouncing process.
Note: The leopard design is from a 1500s painted tile image and the medallion and peacock feather are based on classic designs.
