Kindra Haugen, daughter of batik artist Terri Haugen, has made a niche in the craft world with her lovely hand-painted magical rocks. Kindra paints the smooth stones she finds on the shores of Lake Michigan, and sells them in her family's gallery, mainly to tourists and guests in the region. She first began painting the stones when she was six years old, and sold three hundred dollar's worth her first summer.
