Figure A--This 15-foot dragon was created by Major Hall, who has used rusted metal to make works of art for more than six years. Inspiration for these whimsical creatures didn't strike until he was over 50. He knew that he wanted a career change that was free of travel, and he found it with junk and welding equipment.

Figure B--The body of this giant cricket is formerly the body of an old tractor. The piece didn't "come alive" until after he covered the large eyes with perforated metal, which contributes greatly to the authenticity. What he likes best about his work is that he doesn't know what he will make that day.
