Fiber Bowls

The Sew Much More cameras visit Justine Dennis. From a few feet away, these bowls appear to be ceramic, glazed in vibrant colors. But look closely--these are fabric bowls intricately stitched by Dennis, using a unique process all her own. Using wool or cotton fiber and thread, she stitches the colorful baskets by machine. She then embellishes each one by hand, sewing on beads, stitching in specialty yarns, or appliqueing on bits of fabric.
