Don Madvig knew he wanted to be an artist when he took an art class in high school, and with this passion, he went on to earn a degree in art from Indiana University. Currently, he works as an illustrator for children’s books and coaches his son’s soccer team. He loves spending time with his son fishing in the nearby lake and watching action movies. When he finds some free time, he likes to make personalized greeting cards for his friends.

Materials:

cardstock
white, red, blue, purple paper
cloth measuring tape
postage stamps
photo corners
wrapping paper
rubber stamps: leaf, star, moon
ink pads: red, brown, gold, silver
gold fine tip marking pen
black fine tip marking pen
autumn leaf, pressed in a book
A-7 envelope
craft adhesive roller
spray adhesive
bone folder
ruler
Note: Start from the cards background and work forward. Items placed onto the background are made separately and then attached.
