Restore America Quilt: Block 11 Val-Kill
Inspired by HGTV's Restore America: A Salute to Preservation campaign, this quilt represents 12 sites across the United States in need of restoration. This block represents Val-Kill in Hyde Park, N.Y., the post- White House home of one of America's most beloved first ladies, Eleanor Roosevelt.
Designer Tom Russell examined elements from Val-Kill to fashion this contemporary block. Watch the video to learn more about the elements that gave life to this design.
