The Sew Much More cameras visit artist Brenna Busse, whose work explores the notions of sewing in the form of dollmaking. Using mostly recycled materials including fabric scraps, ribbon, buttons and zippers, Busse honors the humble nature of handwork by showcasing imperfect stitches, bumps and frayed edges. She uses earth clay to sculpt, then fires the head, hands and feet. See what inspires Brenna; see her vast collection of recycled materials, then watch her at work in the midst of creating another of her one-of-a-kind dolls that celebrates the stitch.
