Steps:
Coasters
1. Stamp the Marshall Point Lighthouse stamp on a porcelain coaster using a black ink (figures A and B). Heat set.
2. Color in the image using watercolors and a small paintbrush (figure C).
3. Stamp the Portland Head Lighthouse stamp on a porcelain coaster using black ink. Heat set.
4.Color in the image using watercolors and a small paintbrush.
5. Spray the surface of the coasters with matte spray sealer.
Box
1. Apply royal blue ink to the exterior of a box and lid by lightly dragging the ink pad over the surface. Wipe off any excess ink with paper towels (figure D). Heat set.
2. Repeat step 2 using a gold ink pad (figure E).
3. Stamp the Bluenose Schooner stamp, the Near the Sea stamp and the Sea Gull Roost stamp in a random pattern onto the box and lid using black ink.
3. Stamp the Marshall Point Lighthouse stamp onto a slender piece of parchment stationery using black ink and the stamp guide. Tear the top and bottom edges.
4. Paint the image using a small paintbrush and watercolors. Set aside.
5. Stamp the Portland Head Lighthouse onto a square piece of parchment stationery using indigo ink (figure F). Heat set. Wash the surface lightly with a clean paintbrush and water. Heat set.
6. Secure gold photo corners over the corners of the stamped paper. Set aside.
7. Apply a thin layer of glue to the backs of the stamped papers and adhere them to the box lid. Glue trinkets to box lid.
8. Wrap the coasters in tissue paper. Stamp the Near the Sea stamp onto ribbon with gold ink. Tie the ribbon around the wrapped coasters and place them in the box.
