Materials:
embossing heat tool
gold embossing powder
4-6 small- to medium-size clay molds
4-5 Something's Fishy stamps (various borders, patterns, images)
Magic Stamp
black and various colors dye ink
sheet white glossy card stock
sheet sticker paper
decorative buttons/beads
Steps:
1. Cut the card stock and the sticker paper into quarters.
2. Arrange a small grouping of clay molds with the sides touching.
3. Heat the Magic Stamp for 1 minute and press firmly on to clay molds (figure A).
4. Ink the Magic Stamp with one or two colors of dye ink and stamp repeatedly on the glossy card stock, filling the entire page. Repeat to cover all four pieces (figure B).
5. Using black dye ink, stamp random images to completely fill all four sheets but do not overlap images (figure C).
6. Cut out each of the images previously stamped.
7. Peel the backing off of one piece of sticker paper. Stick cut out pieces on to the sticker paper, leaving narrow openings between them (figure D). Continue repeating this step using another piece of sticker paper.
8. Dip the finished collage into the gold embossing powder and shake off excess. Heat to emboss.
9. Layer embellishments or other stamped images on top of the collage to create more interest. Then layer the finished collage on a card or frame it.
Tips:
When stamping out backgrounds with the Magic Stamp, try to vary your color combinations. Also, rotate the stamp so the design is placed in different directions.
