Creative Painting

Carol Duvall Show : Episode CDS-417 -- More Projects »
At the 1997 Creative Painting Convention, Back Street's Jennie Seward demonstrates a product called Fragile Crackle. It's applied in two steps, and is extremely easy to use. First select the item you want to crackle (Seward used a colored print) and then apply a generous helping of Step 1 of the product. It will go on milky and will dry clear. Let it dry. To produce the crackles, apply Step 2. If you desire small cracks, apply a thin coat, and for larger cracks, apply a thicker amount. Let this dry completely. Finally, use a brush to apply acrylic paint in the color you most desire. Wipe off the paint and its done. The Fragile Crackle can be used and any surface, including glass, plastic and wood.
