Tool Testing

Carol and her guests, Emma Samms and Heloise, demonstrate some tools that are useful for crafters. They include a drill that does not require a key for the bits to be tightened, and a drill with a level built into the handle to ensure "straight" drilling. As Carol demonstrates a small sander, and while sanding, she recommends sanding in the direction of the grain when you are trying to sand something off the wood, especially as you get closer to the wood, itself. Carol, Emma and Heloise also agree that eye protection is a "must" and that instructions should be read all the way through before drilling or sanding.
