For those who were raised looking at photo albums consisting of gray, white or black pages, it must be almost impossible to imagine the incredible variety of pages now on the market meant for you to put your photos on. Some are almost too beautiful to cover up.
The pages looked at today came from :
Memory Muse...who has a new line called Holidaz Pages. They are designed for practically every holiday you can think of and all with the very popular retro look (figures A & B).
From Paper Adventures, another wonderful series of pages with large retro designs in those familiar colors of the '60s and '70s (figure C). Mary ONeil designed those we displayed.
From S.E.I..,a very different look to their series called Simple Sets. Rich colors and very plain geometric designs, clean and crisp looking with stickers to match the pages (figure D).
From Far and Away a new line called Sun pages that feature some absolutely extraordinary photography from the Jonah Sutherland collection (figure E). Suitable for framing by themselves, these would also make wonderful backgrounds for those travel photos you have taken (figures F & G).
Then from Destination Stickers and Stamps are pages of their State of Mind stickers (figure H). Where do you live? Where did you go? Where do you want to go? There is no doubt a sticker to state your preference in whatever size or font you desire (figure I).
No matter how beautiful the pages or how wonderful the photos, there still seems to be room for embellishments. Making Memories has their Details line of embellishments ready to satisfy your every whim (figure J). Eyelets seem to be leading the popularity race right now, and there are eyelet letters, eyelet tags, eyelet words and eyelet charms (figure K). Also in the line are wire words to go with the tags and charms (figure L).
As an aid in inserting all those eyelets is a tool from Moonshine Designs called, appropriately enough, the Universal Eyelet Tool. Because the eyelets now come in different sizes as well as colors, this is a great aid in covering the page with eyelets with very little effort. There are three different sizes of punches that all fit into a little stand, complete with the handle that fits them all (figure M).
And if you get really carried away with embellishments and find that your page now takes the space of two or three or more because you have added depth with some of the extras, Dolphin Enterprises has Protect-A-Page (figure N) for you and your pages. There are two sections to each page that pull apart, with each section being 1/4-inch deep. When joined, they will allow 1/2-inch-deep items to be attached to the page and still keep everything flat as well as protected (figure O).
