Carol demonstrates an idea for a simple coverall design that serves unlimited purposes. No pattern is necessary to make this basic design which, with a few varied embellishments, can be used to create checkbook covers, book jackets, facial tissue covers, business card holders, cushions and pillow shams. Try creating this useful facial tissue carrier that's perfect for carrying those pocket sized packages of facial tissue. These easy-to-make items strap onto a child's belt, and put facial tissue in reach of little runny noses.

Steps:
  1. Cut a rectangle of fabric measuring approximately 4" x 6".
  2. Turn the 4" sides under about 1/4", and stitch them down.
  3. Fold each stitched end to the middle of the fabric. Make sure the wrong side of the fabric is showing. Stitch along the folded, unhemmed edges.
  4. Turn the fabric right side out. Cut slits through the back of the holder that are wide enough to accommodate a child's belt. Use a fray deterrent on these cuts.
  5. For quick and easy tissue access, push a pocket sized package of facial tissue into the holder, and lace a child's belt through the back slits.
