Tin Can Candle Sconce

Cut aluminum cans to make inexpensive and decorative candleholders. Figure A Figure B

tin cans
votive candle
glass beads
scissors
hole punch
felt-tip pen
masking tape
floral tape
floral wire

Steps:

1. Trim top off can with scissors. Make a template of chosen design.
2. Attach template to can with masking tape. Trace pattern with felt-tip pen (figure A).
3. Cut design and punch holes to allow candlelight to show through.
4. Embellish can with glass beads (not plastic) and floral wire (figure B).
5. Secure votive candle to can with floral tape.

Tip: Never leave burning candles unattended.
