2. Sew the sides and ends to the base with a zigzag stitch.

4. Cut an 11-inch square of fabric.

5. Center the fast2fuse pieces on the square of fabric.

6. Carefully turn both over, and iron the fabric to fuse it together (figure C).

7. Cut four pieces of Wonder Under and fuse them to the fabric between the fast2fuse pieces.

8. Trim the fabric square along the outer edge of the fast2fuse (figure D).

9. Lay the second piece of fabric over the other side, fuse it on, and trim the edges (figure E).

10. Trim a small piece out next to the flaps on each side. When folded the edges are even with the base of the flap and makes for easier folding.

11. Zigzag a length of cording around the edge (figure F).

12. Satin stitch once or twice around the edge. Or zigzag a length of rayon rattail cording around the edge and skip the satin stitching (figure G)!

13. Iron a crease in the fabric corners.

14. Add a button on one side of each end and the top and a ribbon to the other side of each. Fasten the buttons with the ribbons and fold your fabric box and you're ready To Go (figure H)!

Create coasters and fortune cookies with the fabric box fusing technique:

Coasters: Create coasters with this process; cut circle, add trim, spray with water and steam iron flat.

Fortune Cookies: After making the circle (coaster with trim), spray with water, steam iron, fold in half twice and pin till dry.
Happy Boxing!!
